Bonjour! 你好(Nǐ hǎo)! What a turbulent and unsettled year this year has been to our school community and the department.
We have been experiencing an unthinkable situation this year — COVID, and we are sure that the memory will stay with us for the years to come. Due to this unexpected event, our EOTC programme has been cancelled, but the students in languages classes still managed to find some fun under this stressful circumstance, the year 10 French class had fun in their lesson using the interactive screen to support their learning. The year 12 Chinese class had the opportunity to learn one type of Chinese martial arts and one of the traditional Chinese board games called Wéiqí. What made it even more amazing was that the classmates of theirs taught them how to do them, and then they all had competition to play against the classmates. They learnt the knowledge as well as had fun doing them.
