Year 11 students researched the changing characteristics of the Puhoi Stream and the sustainability of gold mining in the Coromandel.

Year 12 students completed the Tongariro Crossing, researching the interaction between climate and vegetation as altitude changes and where to locate the Port of Auckland, if it is moved.

Year 13 studied the coastal processes operating and interacting at Omaha and the process of Tourism Development in Queenstown.
