THE UNIVERSITY OF WAIKATO<\/h2>\n

The Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship:<\/strong> This Scholarship is one of the University\u2019s top scholarships. During their undergraduate degree, recipients receive up to $10,000 per year and are also offered a tailored leadership and personal development programme.\u00a0 Recipients of this award excel in either a sport or creative\/performing art, have high academic achievement and exhibit strong leadership qualities or potential.\u00a0 This scholarship goes to De Vhante Marsters-Herewini.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Te Paewai o Te Rangi Scholarship:\u00a0<\/strong>This scholarship is for outstanding academic achievement and contributes to the University\u2019s vision of achieving excellence, distinctiveness and international connectedness.\u00a0 The scholarship provides up to $25,000 in the first three years of the student\u2019s undergraduate studies.\u00a0 This scholarship goes to Waiuhimaioha Paki.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ko Te Tangata School Leaver Scholarship:<\/strong> This scholarship recognises the University\u2019s strong connection and commitment to schools and communities within Aotearoa\/New Zealand.\u00a0 Recipients of the scholarship will be awarded to students who show academic readiness and strong community spirit and will receive $5,000 towards study.\u00a0 There are two recipients of this scholarship and they are Kairirangi Edmonds & Ben Marsh.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship:<\/strong>\u00a0Bachelor of business ($1000 for students enrolling in at least one accounting paper). Recipient – Aleesha Hickling<\/strong><\/p>\n

AUT SCHOLARSHIPS<\/h2>\n

The AUT Find Your Greatness Scholarship – School Leavers.<\/strong>\u00a0 This is awarded for an all rounder and has a monetary value of $14,000.\u00a0 This year this goes to Trelise Chappell.<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND<\/h2>\n

\u00a0The University of Auckland\u2019s Pacific Academic Excellence Scholarship<\/strong> comes with one year of accommodation in the University Hall of Residence plus $4,000.\u00a0 This year it goes to Tiger Fong-Fitzpatrick.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The University of Otago M\u0101ori Entrance Scholarships<\/strong> worth $13,000 there are three recipients this year: Mason Hedger, Kaiah Arona, Elysia Crossan.<\/strong><\/p>\n
