Kapura House
Kāpura house – the current defenders of the coveted house cup – and we are aiming to hold the cup for another year! (fingers crossed)
The images that we have to celebrate Kāpura House reflect the year we’ve had – events like Athletics day when the whole school was able to celebrate and compete together, with Kāpura house shining in yellow, to our form class hat competition to keep up lockdown morale. They show the challenges and sharp difference from where we were at in February, to where we find ourselves in Term 4.
Sophie Houghton, Connie Murphy, Oliver Lloyd and George Niupopo are our 2021 house leaders. They were doing a fabulous job fundraising for the Cancer Foundation for Daffodil Day, just before we went into lockdown. Unfortunately, the flowers weren’t able to be delivered as thousands of daffodils were left uncut in their fields. However, we raised funds for the cause and our leaders did their philanthropic duty.
To all Kāpurians – we are proud of your resilience in keeping up with school work in these unprecedented times, and we wish you a wonderful summer, and a less disruptive 2022.
